Baked Shiitake Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shiitake mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Steps

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
  • Drizzle the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil over the mushrooms and stir well to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your sautéed shiitake mushrooms!
