Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steaks
Ingredients
2 large Lion’s Mane mushrooms, sliced into 1-inch thick steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Steps
Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Place the Lion’s Mane mushroom steaks in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, soy sauce, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, basting the mushrooms with the sauce, until they are tender and fully coated with the seasoning.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
