Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steaks
Ingredients
- 2 large Lion’s Mane mushrooms, sliced into 1-inch thick steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Place the Lion’s Mane mushroom steaks in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, soy sauce, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, basting the mushrooms with the sauce, until they are tender and fully coated with the seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
